Morden Station, Tube Lines

Morden Station is the southern terminus for the Northern Line on the London Underground network. First opened in 1926, it required modernisation to support the demands of today’s commuter numbers.

We were commissioned by Tube Lines to undertake a station modernisation and enhancement project. This included the provision of new electrical and mechanical services as well as modification to the existing. All switch rooms were upgraded and new multi-compartment cable containment provided throughout the station. New lighting was integrated with the cable management system in the Ticket Hall and mechanical services including heating, ventilation and air conditioning were installed to the staff areas.
