Added on: 25/10/2018

Imtech has been awarded a project by Battersea Power Station Development Company to deliver building services to some of the residential parts of the development in Phase 2 at one of London’s most recognised landmarks, Battersea Power Station.

The team at Imtech Engineering Services London & South are currently in the process of undertaking the pre-construction element of the project. They will install the complex mechanical and electrical systems to brand new high specification studios and apartments, a mix of single level and duplex units ranging from one to four bedrooms.

Battersea Power Station was built in the 1930s, with the four-chimney layout designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott a distinguished architect and industrial designer. The Grade II* listed well-known London landmark ceased generating electricity in 1983 and is now being brought back to life by Battersea Power Station Development Company.

‘We are delighted to be working on one of the most exciting and innovative new neighbourhoods in London’ commented Martin McEvoy, Managing Director, Imtech Engineering Services London & South ‘This latest project win adds to our growing high end residential sector portfolio. We are looking forward to working with new client Battersea Power Station Development Company to successfully deliver the building services at this iconic development.’
