Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL), a leading provider of community and mental health services, has appointed Imtech Inviron to deliver estates management services across 60 of their sites.
Worth an estimated £16m in total turnover over an initial four-year period, Imtech Inviron has been appointed through QTS LLP, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CNWL, responsible for estates and facilities management to the Trust and other healthcare providers.
Services provided by Imtech Inviron to CNWL include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, fabric and grounds maintenance services. These are complemented by comprehensive management information produced through Inviron’s in house data platform Aurora to pro-actively monitor and manage the performance of the service. The contract will be predominantly self-delivered by Imtech Inviron at buildings located across North West London through to Epsom in Surrey, working with specialist supply partners.
Starting on 1st April 2021, the contract was facilitated by Neller Davies. The company has extensive experience in Facilities Management (FM) procurement and contract management history in the NHS.
Working in collaboration with QTS and the Trust, Neller Davies prepared bid specifications and a performance management system, facilitated a comprehensive asset & condition survey, and managed the online tender process.
The joint project team aims to develop an effective long-term strategy which focuses on patient safety, collaboration and business growth for QTS.
Julian Fris, Director, Neller Davies, said: “The success of this project was in the planning and supporting a strategic approach to the outcome which was ultimately to find a service provider who would significantly improve user wellbeing and safety.”
Gill Stafford, Managing Director, QTS said: “”We are looking forward to working closely with Imtech Inviron to deliver a high-quality service, keeping our staff, patients and visitors safe and to achieve the best possible outcomes for the Trust.
