Brockholes Wetland Centre is a carbon neutral floating venue, situated within a lake created from  a disused quarry near Preston.   Owned and managed by The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside, the centre opened in April 2011 and has won many prestigious awards for a wide range of areas from architectural design to sustainability.
We delivered the mechanical and electrical works on the thermally efficient facility, which included distribution, internal and external lighting, induction loop, fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, ventilation system, biomass boiler and photovoltaic solution.
