To work in collaboration with the helpdesk operatives. You will develop responsibility for the co-ordination of the mobile service engineers time and skill set to deliver reactive, PPM and quoted works in line with client KPI’s and SLA’s. You will liaise with internal and external customers and will provide administration support within a range of duties relating to your scheduling position


  1. Ensure effective and courteous handling of customer queries and service requests via all means of communication
  2. Coordinate and schedule work allocation to ensure maximum utilisation of Engineering resource and Sub-Contractors
  3. Ensure progress and completion of all works are captured with live updates and completion
  4. Ensure the correct discipline of engineer is matched to the tasks to be completed
  5. Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders involved i.e. Call reporters, engineers, sub-contractors, ensuring all relevant parties are aware of key information relating to call outs including confirmation of eta to clients and full handover to in-hours team
  6. Determine where jobs need escalating to the appropriate duty manager to ensure attendance within given SLA.
  7. Ensure that all KPIs and SLA’s are being met and exceeded where ever possible.
  8. Create, update, and manage reports, spreadsheets and schedules as required by the management team.
  9. Support the Helpdesk by working with colleagues to always maintain cover
  10. Work closely with the scheduling team to ensure task grouping and alignment by resource where possible
  11. Reduce travel time and cross overs
  12. Raise Purchase Orders for Engineers and Sub-Contractors as required
  13. Ensure that engineering time is used effectively and efficiently with a target of 98% effective use of labour
  14. Produce high quality documentation from Helpdesk and PPM systems within the required timescales
  15. Actively support and promote Imtech Inviron’s Guiding Principles, entering into a spirit of continuous improvement and job fulfilment
  16. Learning & Development: Take responsibility for your own learning and development activities supported by your line manager and the Performance & Development Review

Skills Required

–          High level of accuracy and attention to detail

–          Ability to deal with confidential information sensitively and appropriately

–          Ability to prioritise and organise workloads effectively, to meet deadlines.

–          Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both with customers and colleagues.

–          IT literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

Qualifications Required

A*- C or equivalent in Maths and English is desired but not essential
