Breathe provide sustainable carbon and energy reduction solutions to help our customers transition to net zero. We do this through the design and construction of large-scale infrastructure renewal and renewables projects that reduce carbon and energy use as well as providing operating cost savings and improved building environments for our clients. Our approach is focused on thoroughly understanding client needs and drivers and utilising our expertise in project development, in-house engineering and programme delivery, to build tailored solutions that deliver true benefit. Breathe is part of Imtech, who are jointly owned by EDF Energy and Dalkia, and one of the UK’s leading technical services engineering businesses. To support our continued growth, Breathe is looking to recruit a self-motivated marketing and communications manager who can lead the development of our marketing and communications activity.

About the Role

This Marketing & Communications role will:

  • Support the delivery of our 5-year strategic growth plan.
  • Continue to enhance Breathe’s public image.
  • Raise awareness of the services and products within our portfolio to our target new market sectors.
  • Stimulate a need or desire in new customers to work with us and for potential new employees to work for us.
  • Communicate the transferability of our skills and expertise from our core healthcare sector to other sectors targeted for growth
  • Shape attitudes through delivery communications focusing on market needs, beliefs, knowledge gaps, frustrations
  • Continue the positioning of Breathe as thought leaders in our field including the evolving ‘data economy’.
  • Join the debate, work with and utilise other organisational communications around chosen themes.

About You:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a B2B marketing role.
  • Preferably CIM with a marketing related degree.
  • Proven research capability including the interpretation of potentially a high volume and complex information for effective written and oral communication, marketing to a diversity of audience types.
  • Evidence of marketing strategies and activities.
  • In depth understanding and experience in social media channels and their use for B2B communication and marketing.
  • An interest in climate change, carbon reduction, renewable energy generation or energy efficiency.
